Joe Francis was elected to the Western Australian State Parliament on September 6th, 2008.

Joe is the Member for Jandakot, and lives within the electorate in the suburb of Atwell, with his wife, Vicki and their two German Shepherds, Sasha & Rex.

Joe and Vicki have lived in Atwell since 2004, which has provided him with a great understanding of the issues surrounding the local community and people of Jandakot.

Previous to being elected, Joe was a serving Officer in the Royal Australian Navy as a qualified Submariner.

Navy values of honor, honesty and loyalty, and a belief in giving everyone a fair-go are the values that drive him to do the best he can for the people of Jandakot.

His previous experience as Proprietor of a small business, also provides him with a great understanding of the needs of the business community.

A life-time member of the RSPCA, Joe is passionate about the welfare of animals and our environment.
